Something is missing in my life,
I feel each night and day,
I sit sometimes and wonder,
Why you had to go away,
I know it will take time and strength
Before I feel whole once more,
Because at this moment my heart
Is broken to its core,
But now I just need time to mourn,
My heart needs time to mend,
Though some say you were only make-believe,
I know I've lost a friend,
You brought such love and joy to my life,
and richness to my days,
A constant comrade through joys and loss,
With your gentle, loving ways,
Companion, sister, confidante,
A friend I won't forget even til the end,
You'll live for always in my heart,
